September Favourites

Sorry about the terrible quality, my camera is still broken :(

Rimmel Match Perfection concealer - This month i have started back to school as many of us have, and i simply can not be bothered to put on a full face of make up in a morning. i would rather have an extra 10 minutes in bed. I use this in the mornings to cover up dark circles and the odd blemish. i have had it a while and never been that bothered about it but it has such a good coverage but is not cakey. It blends beautifully and is just a lovely product.
Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation - I have rediscovered this foundation, and oh my gosh i'm in love with it. It makes you look so fresh faced although i find without a powder it can make you look quite oily. I will be repurchasing this when mine runs out.
Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara - I have done a review of this mascara HERE. But in a nutshell, this mascara is the best mascara i have used since my Benefit They're Real mascara! at a fraction of the price.
John Freida Frezz-Ease Perfecting Creme - I have naturally curly hair so it doesn't straighten very nice. It always goes a bit frizzy so adding a blob of this creme to my hair smooths it out and makes it flat ( in a good way). This also works great if i have slept with wet hair and it is a little frizzy in the morning.
NSPA Fresh Sweet Raspberry Fragrance Body Mist - Raspberry is one of my favourite scents but this is by far the nicest body mist i have EVER smelt. I take this to school with me and all day people comment on it. It doesn't last all day but for a body mist i'm not that surprised.

So that is all my favourites for September. What have you been loving last month?

Review - Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara

Mood : extra happy

I bought this mascara from asda (£5) about a week ago after Zoella said she uses this. I don't normally go for mascara's that have brush applicator, as i find they can clump your eyelashes up. But this one is amazing! I love it so much already.

(excuse the bare nails)

The applicator is a big fat brush. As i said, it doesn't clump up your lashes. It gives them so much volume and length. I have got quite a few comments saying that my eyelashes look fake. And my lashes aren't the longest!

The only thing i don't like about it is that brush is too big to get on your bottom lashes so i have to uses a different mascara to do this. Other than that i am more than happy with this. If you want to try a new cheap mascara definitely go and pick this up. I'm not sure if it is still on offer in asda.

Autumn Haul

Now its autumn time, i haven't got that many clothes suitable for the silly english weather. So i went shopping and bought a few clothing bits and a couple of beauty things.

Zara

I saw a lady pick up this jumper and i really liked the look of it, you can wear it with anything. It's so warm and thick. Bonus : it was in the sale for £3.99

(it doesn't look much here but i can assure you it really pretty)

Primark
First of all i got 2 sets of pyjamas, these Mickey Mouse ones and these elephant ones. I live in comfy clothes and you can never have too man pj's. I like both of these because they have a cuff around the bottom of the leg. Mickey Mouse bottoms - £7, Top - £5. Elephant bottoms - £6, plain black vest - £2.50.

Then i picked up one of these long-sleeved baseball tops. I love the style of this top and i never wear red so i thought this would be nice instead of a full-on red look. £4

I saw a girl wearing this top in cream and thought it looked really pretty but when i saw it in this blue i liked it even more. The netting on the shoulders makes it a bit less plain. £6

I'm a sucker for plain black and grey clothes so i thought i'd pick up a few coloured clothes. This is just a plain pink top but it is slightly longer than a standard tee so i thought this would look really nice with leggings and biker boots. £5

Finally from primark i picked up some more white canvas pumps as mine are really dirty. Also while i am waiting to get some converse these are practically identical n a fraction of the price. £6

Lush

I can't walk past Lush without having a quick look in because the smell is so strong and gorgeous. As i was about to walk out i saw a huge slab of soap called Honey I Washed The Kids and had to have a smell. And oh my god it smells so delicious i wanted to take a bite. £3.40 per 100g

BodyCare

Nivea In-Shower Body Moisurriser - I have wanted to try this since it came out but everywhere i look it was around £5 but i didn't want to spend that on something i might not like. So when i saw it in BodyCare for £2 something i had to pick it up. I chose the one for dry skin although my skin is normal it can't hurt to have extra moisture in your skin.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle - Everyone raves about this so i picked one up for around £3-£4 because i know it can be quite pricey in some places. I will definitely do a review on this once i have used it a few times.

Duty Free

Honey by Marc Jacobs - although i didn't actually buy this, my friend bought it for me in the airport when we went to Tunisia. This smell is to die for. It is so fresh, quite summery but is wearable all year round i think, but not over-powering. £40 for 50ml

So that's my haul, hoped you enjoyed it.Sorry about the terrible quality of the photos as they were all taken on my ipod because my camera on my phone has packed up. i am looking to buy a proper camera so bare with me. Any recommendations please comment down below.

E.L.F haul

When i heard about the 60% sale on elf, i had to go and have a look and of course i ended up buying a bit. I bought 9 things for £14! so here it is, my elf haul :)

All over Colour Stick in Persimmon

I already have one of these in Spotlight which i use as a highlight. i love it so much i decided to buy another one to use as a blush. I have used this a few times and so far i like it although it is very shimmery.

Mineral Lipstick in Beautiful Berry
From the name you'd think this would be a true berry colour. No, its a sheer purple colour. It's hard to explain what colour it is but it is nothing like the colour on the box or the website. I wasn't too pleased with this but i do really like this lipstick.

Jumbo Eye shadow Stick in Turkish Coffee
I really like the look of brown eye liner so i thought i'd pick one up. I know it is an eye shadow stick but i have used it as both eye liner and eye shadow and its great either way. It blends lovely too.

Jumbo Eye Shadow Stick in Like A Boss
Lately i find my makeup is really neutral and boring, so i wanted to add a pop of colour to my eyes. In the photo below it looks almost black but i can assure you it is bright blue. I can't wait to try this out.

Shimmer Eye Liner Pencil in Twinkle Teal
In this little haul i went a bit mad on bright colours. I don't actually know why i bought this but i'm sure i will find a use for it.

Baked Bronzer in Los Cabos
I wanted a new bronzer as i'm getting a bit bored of my normal one. This is okay but its very shimmery and you cant make a mistake with this buy i'm sure i will learn to apply this right.

(top to bottom) Lipstick - Beautiful Berry, All Over Colour Stick - Persimmon, Jumbo Eye Shadow Stick- Turkish Coffee, Jumbo Eye Shadow Stick - Like a Boss, Shimmer Eye Liner Pencil - twinkle teal.

Lash & Eyebrow Comb
I just needed a new one of these so i picked one up. simples

I also got an angled contour brush and a small angled brush. They were both from the eye section so i thought the contour brush would be good for the crease or to blend but it is way to big for eyes but way too small for face so i'm a bit stuck on what to use this for (if you have any ideas please let me in the comments below). I have used the small angled brush for filling in my eye brows, it's is just what i was looking for.

So that is it for my ELF haul, hope you enjoyed it.

Make-Up Wishlist

I've wanted to try quite a few make up products but they are either too expensive and i need to save up for them or they aren't available in the UK (or i just forget to pick them up when i'm shopping) . I've decided to make a wishlist so i know what products i want (as i normally forget) and so i don't buy things on the spot.

1. MAC creme cup - when i went to the mac shop i couldnt remember the name so i ended up buying morange which i wanted anyway but is quite hard to wear as it is bright orange

2. Maybelline Baby Lips - these aren't available in the UK at the moment but they are coming next month (happy happy happy!!!)

3. Benefit They're Real Mascara - I had one of these mascaras last summer time and i absolutely loved it! i have never found a mascara like it

4. Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer - I do actually have this concealer but its in the lightest shade and it is pure white, it's more of a highlight. i need to pick up the darker shade.

5. Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayons - Zoella mentioned these in one of her recent videos and i really want to try them

6. EOS Lip Balm - These just look really cute

7. Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer -  i have heard loads about these so i really want to give them ago

8. Nivea lip butters -  as you can probably tell, i love my lip products

What's on your wishlist? Have you posted yours on your blog? link your blog in the comments and i'll check it out.

Morning and night skincare routine

Hey, this is my current skincare routine. The products i use change a lot depending on the time of year and what state my skin is in. My skin is quite oily and very sensitive.

Morning

St. Ives fresh skin apricot scrub - first of all i exfoliate my face with this divine smelling scrub. I havent had this long but my face is so smooth at the moment and i think its all down to this. Plus apricot is one of my favourite scents so its a bonus!

Clean&Clear deep cleansing lotion - After i have washed my face, i use my trusty cotton pads and this cleanser. i love this stuff! its great, it refreshes your face and dries into your skin so no need to wash it off. Also, its so cheap (£2.99)!

Simple hydrating light moisturiser/Dove summer glow in medium to dark- for my moisturiser i use one of these two. I love them both but the simple is so much better to moisturise your skin properly. The dove is a tinted moisturiser so it gradually builds up a slight tan. The only thing is it makes my face tingle if its feeling particularly sensitive.

Evening

Soap & Glory - Peaches and Clean 4-in-1 - I use this to remove my makeup. I love the smell of this and it does an amazing job of getting all my eye-makeup off. It doesn't get all my foundation off though but most of it does come off.

After i have removed my makeup, my routine is the same as the morning.

Avon planet spa face mask & Lush bubblegum lip scrub- When i have my pamper evenings (once or twice a week) i use these aswell as everything else. I have only used the face mask twice so i haven't really made my mind up about it, but so far so good. Lush's bubblegum lip scrub is really good. It smells and tastes (as you can lick it off of your lips) amazing. It makes my lips feel so smooth and soft.

GlossyBox review - June

Hey, i know this is a bit late but this is my review of my GlossyBox i received this month. I was fairly happy with what i got. This months box was themed with a 'Summer look'.

GlossyBox;
What is it? it is a box with 5 LARGE samples of beauty products.
How often do i receive it? every month
How much is it? well it is £10 if you pay every time you get it or you can have monthly plans (e.g. 3-months, 12-months etc.)

First of all, the box it comes in is lovely. even the shipping box is quite nice. It it wrapped in tissue paper and tied with a ribbon with a little GlossyBox sticker.

You also get a short guide on how to use all your products and what they do.

Figs & Rouge, coco rose lip balm (£5 for 12.5ml) : This lip balm has a slight pink tint and shimmer to it. It smells just like roses which i'm not too keen on. Also, it dries quite quickly, so it's more of a quite fix than a long wear balm. Overall i'm not majorly impressed with this but it is ok.

Helen E shimmer eye powder (£5 for 1.5g) : this pink eye powder looks really dark and pigmented but when i tried it for the first time today, i was quite surprised that it is just pink shimmers. I was a little bit disappointed but it still looks nice just to brighten up the eye and give a bit more colour to the face.

MEMEME long lasting nail gloss (£5 full size) : i was quite happy to see a nail polish in my GlossyBox this month as i love painting my nails and trying out new colours. This one looks quite pink on this photo but its pretty much white. To be quite honest, i'm not sure what it is, a base coat, top coat or colour? it says its a colour but it simply has no (well very little) colour to it.

NUXE Huile prodigieuse (I have no idea what that means): I haven't actually used this yet but it looks fairly good. It's a dry oil with gold shimmers in it. It says you can use it on your face, body and hair to hydrate and nourish. I don't think i will use this on my face but i will certainly try it out on my hair.

MONU Professional Skincare, Hydrating moisteriser SPF 15 (£29.95 for 50ml) : again i haven't used this properly yet but i have swatched this on the back of my hand. It feels quite thick and heavy which i'm not really a fan of. I will probably end up giving this to my mum as she is always moaning about her moisterisers.

Hope you enjoyed this. Lib x
